OFFICE OF INTELLIGENCE AND INSPECTION

The Office of Intelligence & Inspection (OII) is the analytical unit of the Board, focused on monitoring compliance conditions and identifying risks across defense and public safety environments using open-source intelligence. Its work includes the publication of a monthly U.S. safety intelligence report and the operation of BigEye, a centralized intelligence dashboard that aggregates and analyzes publicly available data to support inspections, assessments, and advisory outputs, sharing findings with member agencies.
